Nevada Insurance Requirements.

30 credit hours, triennially, of which three (3) credits are ethics.
First day of the month following the license issuance date, triennially
Approved Course Delivery Methods
• Written and Online self-study courses (passing grade of 70% required on final exam)
• Interactive Online
Self-study final exams are required to be monitored by a disinterested third party. The monitor must not be a relative or someone who has an economic or other interest in the outcome of the exam.
Course Subject Requirements
Courses must be approved for the line of insurance held by the agent.
Three (3) of the 30 credits must be ethics.
Excess credit hours may not be carried over to the next reporting period.
Credit will not be given for a course that is repeated within a three-year period.
• Non-resident agents
• Individuals who have limited license
• Individuals who have had 20 years or more of continuous experience in the insurance field.
• Individuals who are a CLU, CPCU, CIC, ChFC, or CFP.
Cape will report all continuing education course completions to Sircon within 15 days of course completion. Students are provided certificates of completion, which they should keep for their own records.
